The website strategism.org is an initiative of Policyinstitute.net, which was founded in 2017. It is our mission to deliver, via strategism.org, reliable and purposeful analyses. The site was originally meant to be enshrined amidst the fields of politics and economics, while the term ‘strategism’ refers to the theory of strategy. In specific, the site has come to support stability in society – through means of communication and other aspects of soft counter-extremism. However, we may also propose policy recommendations in the fields of the social and political sciences.

Policyinstitute.net’s founder, Thorsten Koch, MA, PgDip, is a journalist, social science author and researcher, and not-for-profit NGO Manager. He used to serve as Senior Expert on Mauritania for Amnesty International and, for years, has engaged in the promulgation of of soft counter-extremism.

To date, Policyinstitute.net maintains four topical websites. Besides strategism.org, these are counter-terrorism.org, sahara-sahel.org, and preventhate.org.
