The website strategism.org is an initiative of Policyinstitute.net, which was founded in 2017. It is our mission to deliver, via strategism.org, reliable and purposeful analyses. The site is enshrined amidst the fields of politics and economics and is meant to deliver set goals. Hence, the term ‘strategism’ may refer to the theory of strategy, but it can also mean that viable paths are arranged for in order to reach specific outcomes, thus supporting stability in society – through means of communication, soft counter-extremism, as well as via recommendations in the fields of the social and political sciences.

Policyinstitute.net’s founder, Thorsten Koch, MA, PgDip, is a journalist, social science author and researcher, and not-for-profit NGO Manager. He used to serve as Senior Expert on Mauritania for Amnesty International and, for years, has engaged in the field of soft counter-extremism.

To date, Policyinstitute.net maintains four topical websites. Besides think-tank.talk.org, these are counter-terrorism.org, sahara-sahel.org, and preventhate.org.
