Mark of 9,000 LinkedIn Followers Reached (Policyinstitute.net)

Dear Network,

My LinkedIn network has surpassed the 9,000-follower threshold. In recent months, most new contacts came along all by themselves, with Data Analysts, Senior Researchers, University Professors, Lecturers, academic leaders, as well as students for both Bachelor and (post)graduate degrees representing the largest share. A high-profile audience throughout, most certainly. However, interestingly enough, very few work in intelligence; most are affiliated with international organizations, universities, national NGOs, etc.

Most of the persons who are now on my list visited and read my profile before giving it a go and deciding to follow me. That may also be a reason for 85 percent becoming contacts immediately or after a certain time of scrutinizing whether they like the free content that I share. Most do seem want to read and work with the news articles, analyses and insights, larger studies, official documents, as well as audios and videos that I make available. Let me remind you that I post about three subjects: disinformation, countering hate and extremism.

Should you be interested in reading high-class, curated content with the aforementioned topical trajectories and at absolutely no cost, please do not hesitate to add me. You might, on occasion, also stumble upon a few announcements about news on Germany from another project that I have founded, but that may also be of interest.

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
Thorsten Koch, MA, PgDip
